Maria also emphasizes the educational value of the book: "It addresses serious issues concerning sex (pages 58-60) and child abuse (pages 170-1). It is a fine help for parents who want to rear their children wisely in today's evil world where so many dangers lurk."
Ya too bad the WTS didn't actually practiced what they preached. While any organization can have pedophiles lurking around, the way they handled the pedophile problem reflects the ignorance they so often display whenever serious problems arise within the Organization. Do they tell the children in this book that they or their parents should tell the police if someone abuses them?
Like so many other areas, they whitewash the problem and the solution.
