I can never figure it out.

I want to get the most showings on the current page of active topics.

Is it when there's only 4 or 5 posts on a page, or half full, or almost full?

    When should I post?

    Thanks... Hubert

Hubert you can BTT a topic anytime you want. I don't know if any one time is better than another.

    what does BTT mean?

I am on another message board and we always "bump" the thread back to page 1... but I can't figure out BTT.

I send topics "Back To The Top" (bttt) when I'd like to get them seen and they've dropped to page 3 or 4 (like ones about Ian's prayer vigil). Bumping them immediately puts them back on page one, as "Active" just means that it's the most recently posted to (not the most viewed or most posted to).

also if say posted at 10.00 pm Pacific Time - it would still only be 6.00 am UK Time and in the middle of the night for rest of US - so if you woke up next morning and went straight onto the board that would also be a good time to bttt
