I used to install double-glazing, during this period I was an active witness and worked with a guy who had just come into the truth.
Now I don?t know if builders are the same the world over, but the first thing we would do when we got to site was demand a cupa and ask where we could plug in our beatbox. This would normally be met with a sigh and a resigned look from the householder.
When the music began to play however that look turned to?well not sure, because now playing at full volume would be kingdom melodies or one of the audio bible books. I can only look back in embarrassment.
Another thing we did was to put magazines into areas we would close while building or to write bible texts and JW teachings into areas that may be exposed at a latter time .How sad was I.
What a looney.

For awhile, I worked with a Glazier just as you did and we didn't do any of that.

Hey, Pep! Those are great! I love the cranked kingdom songs or books. I'm sure they really make the HH wonder! The mags in the wall are really great too. A hundred years from now.....

Too funny. I was young, but remember helping to build the KH in Ukiah, CA. One of the younger brothers who worked for the brick mason, and whom I adored (first crush), gave me a budwiser bottle to put in the foundation. I added a couple more in other places for him before the place was finished.
Don't think anyone left a tract or anything...
