Maybe I'm a little behind on this, but I have seen several posts of people wanting info on the whole Watchtower/UN thing.
I came across this today. Compares the societies stand on YMCA membership with their own membership with the UN.

That website/blog sounds, smells and look like the e-watchman.com.
I bet it's by the same guy or some of his disciplues, even though I think that the more exposition this issue has, the better.

I heard they used to be a NGO with the UN, but deleted their NGO status years ago. (It was still hypocritical.)

In October 2001, the Main Representative of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York to the United Nations, Giro Aulicino, requested termination of its association with DPI. Following this request, the DPI made a decision to disassociate the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York as of 9 October 2001.
