... in California that wanted to commit suicide by getting his vehicle in the way of an on-coming train? The coward/idiot/nut/moron, changed his mind when he saw the train coming towards him and jumped out of the vehicle. As a result, several people lost their life and about 100 or so were seriously injured.
WHAT A COWARD!!!!!!!!!! If he wanted to take his life, why did he have to involve other people??? He could've gone and thrown himself off a bridge, shoot himself, drink something poisonous, cut a main artery and sit on his bathtub. Something that didn't involve other people!!!!!!!!!
I too was appalled when I read this. The individual apparently went off his nut for a bit, and did something really, really stupid and he?s probably in shock over what he did.
People in that state of mind are temporarily insane and I would not be at all surprised if he gets off on that ground and goes into a mental ward for a couple years and is released.
I also would not be surprised to find that he actually wanted to hurt people and it was never a real suicide attempt and he made it up to try to cover his ass.
My heart goes out to everyone injured/killed and their families. Whether or not he meant to do any harm, his actions were abominable.
