how is it possible, that one can be of the anointed, and be married? i've known more than one couple, when one is professing to be of the anointed, and the other spouse isn't. this has never made ANY sense to me. anyone ever have these thoughts about this?

In JWdom, the apostle Peter was "anointed" and he was married...
Now in Christendom, all baptized Christians are "anointed members of the Body fo Christ" and they certainly get married, too.

We had a CO that was "anointed". His wife used to cry all the time, because she didn't want to be seperated from her husband.
One time, when they came around, she was miraculously of the anointed too. How conveniant, huh.

I knew a couple where the husband was annointed. The wife seemed to have no problem at all with the prospect of him going to heaven and her getting a new hubby here on earth. LOL!

Dear ones... EVERYONE in the first century who was called a 'christian'... was 'anointed'... for THAT is what a 'christian' is.... 'chosen'... or 'anointed' person. Christ-ian.
EVERYONE ate and drank... unless they were an 'unbeliever'... one who did not believe in the outpouring, power, gifts and PURPOSE of the holy spirit. When Paul(?) spoke of those who ate and drank 'unworthily', he wasn't talking about people who were not 'anointed', dear ones. He was talking to them ALL.
He said a man must 'scrutinize' himself FIRST, before eating and drinking because such one had to:
1. Acknowledge and REMOVE any 'leaven' that existed in him, any hypocrisy in the form of hatred or judgment, because IF he/she ate with such leaven in them, in their hearts, they would be eating and drinking judgment... against THEMSELF. For 'with the same judgment that you are judging, you will BE judged.'
2. And they had to KNOW... in their hearts... that the bread WAS the flesh of the Christ and the wine his blood; that it was not simply a cracker and some grape juice. Otherwise, what was its value? This was because some would come full, having ate and home and NOT eat and drink (nah, thanks, man, I ain't hungry), and others would come ravished and try to eat up everything (ooh, man, looka that spread... pass me 'dos crackers) so that by time the poor people arrived, those who had brought nothing with because they had nothing to bring... there was nothing LEFT.
There were four groups of people, dear ones:
1. Those who never received such spirit - the bad priests, scribes and pharisees;
2. Those who never received such spirit because they didn't believe and therefore didn't ASK for it;
3. Those who DID received such spirit... and its 'gifts'... and went on 'increasing' by spreading the 'good news'... the invitation to 'Come! Take life's water free!' and received the 'free gift' of holy spirit; and
4. Those who received such gift... but either proved false to it (used it for personal gain), denied it (out of fear of man), or turned against it (to seek the 'desire of the eyes' and 'the desire of the flesh', things that 'originated' NOT with such spirit, but with the world).
I am SO sorry that 'religion' has not taught you these truths, particularly the 'religion' of the WTBTS that claim to have within its 'walls'... the 'anointed'... the Body of Christ. In truth, any such 'body' member who is STILL inside that 'great city'... is an adulteress... a harlot... having left off following their 'husbandly owner'... to follow and commit 'fornication' with... the 'kings of the earth', the GB.
Too bad, too bad.
