I am interested in recreating astronomical events like solar and lunar eclipses that took place during Biblical times.
Does anyone know of some good PC astronomy software that could could be used to recreate such events?

Cartes du Ciel http://www.stargazing.net/astropc/ is another one a lot of Amateurs use, it's a freebie.
I use Starry Night which is very good but the absolute dogs dangly bits when it comes to Astronomy
