Went to the Public Talk yesterday with my step-son. I really enjoyed the opening song, good ole 189, "The Day of Jehovah's Vengence" or some such drivel. SHEEESSH! How comforting to know that billions now living will soon be killed.

I appreciated the talk too, "Natural Disasters: How do you view them". The speaker had a hard time making any real points. He did however quote Matt 24 (Big surprise)Funny thing is though, the speaker read Matt 24:3 then skipped over verses 4 and 5 without comment. INTERESTING! He also skipped the second half of verse 6 which reads, "see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet." verse 8 was also skipped. No mention of verses 27 and 28 either, I wonder why?

Didn't stay for the WatchTower sleep along, I went to Mass instead (with my step son).

Meetings just get more interesting every time I go. HA!

Have you ever seen the Simpsons, the one where Homer is accused of touching the babysitters butt, and the reporter mixes up homers senteces to make him say that he did touch her butt. This kind of reminds me of what you are saying. They only reveal the parts to their advantage.
