The Twilight Zone" has its affect in this instance, granted Apostate" means basically someone who changes sides; but for the love of Mike the Jehovah's witness's did the same thing with the "Bible Students" and then denigrated them to lower position than pagans, and then railroaded them to the way side through deception and greed. Lest ways the Bible Studens" stayed with in their own light more reasonably than they did. Apostates Unite! Shane

So true and also many jws were not brought up jws but converted as adults who probably were some other religion . So most jws are in fact Apostates wether they like to admit it or not because they turned away from what they used to believe in. So it looks like we is all just a bunch of Apostates all the way around.

This is just another example of their taking a word that means something pretty innocuous, and turning it into some kind of fear tactic. Apostasy is just changing your mind, and is not an evil thing any more than changing your mind over what to eat for breakfast or what to wear to school.
It is ridiculous how much fear the society attaches to so many innocent things.

This is so stupid it's funny . My jw husband keeps telling me i am not an Apostate when i tell him i am . ( i was baptized long ago) But when i call him one he just laughs. He is an Apostate ,he was brought up Lutheran and converted to jwism.

My older brother bless his heart, tried to tell me just how mean and nasty they were to him for viewing some point diferently, but like a faithful little sheep I turned my back on my loving brother simply because he voiced his own feelings from time to time; not anymore I am a mighty Goat!
