Last sundays watchtower 1/6/01 pg 13 p4 ,under the subheading of " who today have gods backing?" said "Granted, true religion does make people better. But does the fact that a religion produces better people in itself prove that it has God's backing? Is that the sole criterion for determining ir a religion is true?" The content of the rest of the watchtower goes on to show they belive the answer to the above question is no , as they go on to say "The pivotal question in this matter is: which religion urges its followers to do gods will and gives solid evidence of divine backing...?"
A previous watchtower had stated that increase in numbers was not necessarily a proof of divine backing.
But I find that these are the two reasons most witnesses will state when asked why they think they have the true religion.
I expect that many will forget or won't even have registered the above information when they read the articles and will carry on quoting these as proofs.
So I ask the question if you think Jehovahs witnesses are the true religion why ?
Please answer without circular arguments or with self set criterion

I think Not. One cant be true and wave unity over truth. Any thing organized forces those as participants to indulge the group of their own spirit and compromise some part of themselves.
So we have people, created as Adam & Eve, no better or worse, who must manitain a specifc groomong procedure or abstain from a celebration because another MAN , notthe one who gave the person life ,has said so....
