The Payson, Arizona Roundup contains a saccharine story entitled "Jehovah's Witnesses call all members family." Under one of the photos is the caption: "Members of the Jehovah's Witnesses of Payson chose not to be photographed because they do not believe in setting one member above another member." Almost made me puke. I can remember countless photos of Jehovah's Witnesses taken at different conventions with no one ever objecting.

And what church doesn't? Every church I have ever been in calls one another "brother and sister". Sometimes the media is as braindead as the dubs.

About every member of the GB has an awake article about them with a biography........what the hells the difference?

I was so impressed by this excellent article that I clicked on the reporter's name and sent her an extensive email detailing the doctrines, changes to doctrines, publications encouraging lying under oath in child custody cases, the memorial ritual, medical issues and other miscellaneous documented facts about family oriented JW's around the world, complete with links to Silentlambs.org, AJWRB and Freeminds.org

That might wake her up to what the community of Payson ultimately will have to come face to face with. Do you guys think I did the right thing. I wouldn't want to stumble anyone or bring reproach to the WTBTS.

Well, brother Honesty, I think we might be able to forgive you just this one time.
Make sure you do it again, now!!!

Glad you're on the side of humanity, not on the side of some antihuman cult.

Hmm...what about all those Gilead graduation photos? My family had a cabin up in Pine, just 15 minutes outside of Payson. It's a very pretty area, the kind of sleeper town I'd like to retire to....

    Honesty,

It's a shame there are not more people around like you.
