  This link (above) is a summary of the fantastic booklet showing the duplicity of Fred Franz (it is presumed he wrote the article supporting the two class interpretation) in hiding the truth about "Where the Great Crowd" serves God. It takes a couple of times to read thru, but the understanding is worth it.

  That booklet is something I have been meaning to read. thanx for the reminder. I think maybe I will order one from Commentary Press. I read the online link you gave - but I think a carefull read on real paper is in order here.

  Something else about the great crowd doctrine is.

  1. The bible indicates an indefinate article "a" for discribing it. While in the publications the society gives it a definate article "the" causing the term 'great crowd' to sound almost like a proper name, rather than a simple description.

  2. 'a great crowd' is mentioned again at rev 19:1 and they are placed squarely in heavan. The RiGCaH book spends practically a whole chapter on the term 'a great crowd' at rev 7, but not a mention of 'a great crowd' at rev 19.

  In my eyes chpt 7 and 19 are discribing the same crowd.

  (Revelation 19:1-3) 19

  After these things I heard what was as a loud voice of a great crowd in heaven. They said: "Praise Jah, YOU people! The salvation and the glory and the power belong to our God, 2 because his judgments are true and righteous. For he has executed judgment upon the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he has avenged the blood of his slaves at her hand." 3 And right away for the second time they said: "Praise Jah, YOU people! And the smoke from her goes on ascending forever and ever."

  (Revelation 7:9-10) 9 After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. 10 And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: "Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb."

  Exactly. I had been assigned Rev 7 back in the spring of 2002 and as I studied I just couldn't get out of my mind that the Great Crowd had to be in heaven. Then I found the Rev 19 reference and was totally blown away. Sure the Society said that the Great Crowd of Rev 19 is made up of angels, but it doesn't wash.

  I felt sick. It was the first real feeling of "we really could be wrong"

  Later on that year I saw a game show that had the answer of Jerusalem for a question which was "This ancient Jewish city was destroyed by Babylon in 587 bc"

  It sure did and I'm surprised that more hasn't been made of the blatant lie that Fred Franz told in that 1980 WT trying to expand the meaning of the word "naos"

  It was many months of being upset, freaked out, embarrassed, scared and finally acceptance.
