w03 8/15 p. 14 We Will Walk in Jehovah?s Name Forever! ***5
God expects justice to be exercised by those taking the lead among his people. This is what we find to be true of Jehovah?s servants today. Moreover, this harmonizes with Isaiah 32:1, where we read: "Look! A king will reign for righteousness itself; and as respects princes, they will rule as princes for justice itself." In Micah?s day, however, what do we find? "Haters of what is good and lovers of badness" persist in perverting justice.

w02 2/15 p. 23 A Hiding Place From the Wind ***The prophet Isaiah explained that "princes" would be appointed by God, and each one would serve as "a hiding place from the wind." (Isaiah 32:1, 2) Under the direction of the King, Christ Jesus, these spiritual princes, or overseers, would be like stable rocks, firm in times of stress or affliction. They would offer reliable shelter in the face of adversity and help needy ones to safeguard their reserves of spiritual water from God?s Word.

w02 3/15 pp. 16-17 Christ Leads His Congregation *** 13
Who would not want to benefit from the grand arrangement of oversight that our Leader has instituted in the Christian congregation? The prophet Isaiah foretold its blessings, saying: "Look! A king will reign for righteousness itself; and as respects princes, they will rule as princes for justice itself. And each one must prove to be like a hiding place from the wind and a place of concealment from the rainstorm, like streams of water in a waterless country, like the shadow of a heavy crag in an exhausted land." (Isaiah 32:1, 2)
Each one of the elders is to be such "a place" of protection and safety. Even if submitting to authority is difficult for us, let us prayerfully apply ourselves to being obedient and submissive to the divinely constituted authority within the congregation.

w99 3/1 p. 16 "The Temple" and "the Chieftain" Today *** 16
What kind of overseers are these prospective members, who are in line for enlarged responsibilities as
the chieftain class? The prophecy found at Isaiah 32:1, 2 says: "Look! A king will reign for righteousness itself; and as respects princes, they will rule as princes for justice itself. And each one must prove to be like a hiding place from the wind and a place of concealment from the rainstorm, like streams of water in a waterless country, like the shadow of a heavy crag in an exhausted land." This prophecy is being fulfilled today as
Christian elders?anointed and other sheep?work to protect the flock from such ?rainstorms? as persecution and discouragement.

w99 3/1 p. 17 "The Temple" and "the Chieftain" Today ***18 In Bible times some chieftains had much authority, others less. Today, elders of the great crowd have widely varying responsibilities. Some serve in one congregation; others serve many congregations as traveling overseers; others serve whole countries as Branch Committee members; others directly assist various committees of the Governing Body. In the new world, Jesus will appoint "princes in all the earth" to take the lead among Jehovah?s worshipers on earth. (Psalm 45:16) No doubt he will select many of these from among the faithful elders of today. Because these men are proving themselves now, he will choose to entrust many with even greater privileges in the future when he reveals the role of the chieftain class in the new world.

w03 5/15 p. 10 Christ Speaks to the Congregations ***4 The "stars" are in Jesus? right hand?within his power, control, favor, and protection. Therefore, they are accountable to him. By heeding his words to each of the seven congregations, present-day elders see how they can handle similar situations. Of course, all Christians need to listen to God?s Son. (Mark 9:7) So, what can we learn by paying attention as Christ speaks to the congregations?
