If ladies want to do gardening in their bikinis they should have the right to do so. I thought the US the land of the free and home of the brave!

A US woman who wore a skimpy bikini while gardening is facing a possible lewdness charge.
Neighbours of Dee Dee Derian, who runs a topless maid service, contacted police after seeing her in her front yard.
It is not the first time the 40-year-old has been contacted about her gardening attire.
"If I were going to a nudist camp, I'd be overdressed," she told The Salt Lake Tribune.
She says the bikini is standard size and claims she is being singled out by vindictive neighbours in West Point, Utah.
Davis County sheriff's lieutenant Dan Horton said: "Her neighbours are pretty persistent about this. We've got to respond when we have a complaint."
But Ms Derian added: "The deputies should have a little more to do than worry about what I'm wearing in my own yard.
"It's not like I'm visually offensive or something; people tell me I look quite a bit younger than 40."

I guess we are in Mormon country here. I would also wager that it was the neighbours wives that complained and not their hubbies........who I am sure would have gotten a sudden interest in the garden........The lawn mower would have appeared before you could say Joe Smiths golden plates!

I didn't know of any law that made wearing a bikini in your own yard indecency. I'd get an attorney and fight that one. I just hate the religious busybody idiots who cause trouble like this.

I tend to agree with Copernicus' quote: Religion is a snare and a racket..there are NO exceptions!

I am sure glad you brought this news item to us. It gave an inspiration. I have decided to run for city counsel, here in my town in Ohio. When I get into office, I am going to push through a new city ordinance. All women who are gardening must wear bikini's.

For all this scripture quoting critics, just remember what it says in the Bible, "If your bikini offends them, take it off."

Rminds me of the Dave Allen joke:

If a woman is sunbathing naked in the garden and I look over the fence at her, she can have me arrested for being a peeping tom. If I lie naked in the garden and she looks over the fence at me, she can have me arrested for indecent exposure.
