What is happening in the Mid East (par for the course, which is to say yet another example of how religion messes things up) has nothing to do with anything.

So what! Everything is prohesied; everything is predicted. While you stew in stuff you can't change, I am going to kick off my shoes and relax and listen to some nice music. I might see my three week old grandson tomorrow while you will be stewing about the end times. You can't change a thing anyway, so why are you so raught up about it? Life is passing you by, while you fuss and fume about what was, what is, and what might be, in the terrible, awful future. I really, sincerely feel sorry for you. I know you feel sorry for me too, because I am so prosaic, ignorant, and short sighted. So be it. To each his own.

Hi Friend,
A child is surely a blessing from God. Have you thought about his future and yours? Remember, salvation is by faith alone (Eph. 2.8,9) and the faith that saves is in Christ Jesus (John 14.6, 3.16, Romans 10.9-11) while the alternative is 'death', which is always understood in the N.T. as 'hell, the separation from God for an eternity (Romans 3.23, 6.23). Al you have to do is admit you are a sinner, in need of the redemption offered by the 'blood of the lamb', believe that He died for your sins and rose on the third day, re[penting of your sins and asking Jesus to come into your life as your personal saviour.
