I plan on organizing a Protest Rally in Toronto this summer at one of the District Conventions. Please find out the dates and places of these assemblies for me. Thanks.

The assemblies aren't in Toronto anymore so Blondie has the correct dates, bonus!

From my sad, pathetic esperience, I can assure you that the Hamilton Copps Coliseum is the venue for the "Toronto" assemblies.

Hamilton: Toronto's Low rent, blue collar neighbour, where you can still rent a stadium without accepting their food services!

Hamilton has been the site of the "Toronto" assembly for at least 10 or 15 years now.

Of course, the main concentration of JWs in in the Toronto area.

    So, given the choice of:

    (A) holding the assembly in Toronto, where it is convenient for the JWs, but will likely cost the Watch Tower Society a little more $$$$$

    or

    (B) holding the assembly in Hamilton, where WT can save a few $$$$, but every single JW has higher out of pocket expenses, for transportation, lodgings, and food,

Of cousre, the selfish, hypocritical WT goes for option B. And then they will probably wonder why they don't have people stuffing the contribution boxes in Hamilton. Jersk.

Gee, maybe I'll go. It is the long wkd. What else would there be to do?

No serious, their right to go and assemble - my right to protest.

I think signs should list Lifton's 8 criteria (since they'd be fulfilling most of them that wkd) Also list those questions they should be asking themselves - Are You Involved In A Dangerous High Control Group?

I'll post them later - they are all yes / no questions
