I've been reading Rev. 20:7 through 21:8 over and
over. My question would be are we now in the
thousand year rule of Christ? Read without any
preconcieved ideas. This is possible for some
and impossible for others. I haven't figured out all
the ramifications of this or if it fits with other things
written. I would rather leave that up to much greater
minds than mine on this board. My point is that there
is no mention of a earthly resurection during this time
(or any other time for that matter). People will die in the
thousand years for death is not taken away until after
the FINAL battle with satan is complete, then the new
heavens and the new earth appear. Also in this final
battle satan goes around and gathers up all the nations.
Tell me my friends where did these all come from unless
left over from the previous satanic ruled adminstration?
Remember JAN's thread about the 14 century, was that
the "time of the end"? . Then shortly after mankind began
a rebirth a RENAISANCE even historians call it that. Was
this the beginning of Christ's rule. Every eye would see
him the bible was but back on the scene after many
centuries of being hidden. Man has come a very long
way since the dark ages so what do you think?
If I'm right please enjoy the day because we now
living will definitly die before the thousand years is
over and the great battle occurs, but we all knew that.
the RENAISANCE

Mark, here's what I think...
I think the author of the book of Revelation stumbled upon a poppy field, or the poor lad had his prison food spiked with mushrooms or something like it. <g> just kidding.
Actually, when I was exiting the org, I had a similar thought to the one that you suggest... that the book was fulfilled in earlier times (the second century? the Dark Ages?) and that people looking for it's fulfillment NOW in the 20th century were no different than Jews looking for a messiah who has already been here.
Now, I think it's a nice story with potential for a Hollywood summer blockbuster, if they ever have the nerve.
peace,
todd
