I'm almost ready to head for a church my daughter attends, her husbands grandfather is the preacher. He's 91 and still going strong. His wife died a few years ago and he has a girlfriend.

It's kind of fun to go once in a while to see what it's like out there. The church is full of hypocrisy, my wife knows several of them, some are drunks, some sleep around, but hay, they are all like that. I can put up with it for one day. They do have some love for one another though, when my daughhter got married they showed her with gifts and they are very friendly. Be back later.

Happy Easter! And aren't we all hypocrites, don't we all try to show our good side? I heard a story once from a minister who said a man complained about all the hypocrites in church and he was told, "Hey, we'd be glad to move over, there's always room for one more; but if you ever do find the perfect church, don't join it c'z you'd probably just spoil it." Kinda like hate the sin but love the sinner...That just kinda stuck with me.

I didn't mean the hypocricy, I meant going to church. All groups have that among them, it doesn't bother me.

Happy Easter- I was thinking of going to a local catholic church this morning too. But I had such a great time watching my children open up their baskets that I decided that being with them in my own home is more like being close to God than any church/hall experience I've ever had. Hopefully, you find the right outlet for spirituality that fits right for you. It's only natural for humans to fall short of the impossible goal- perfection. But at least they are trying to be the best they can be and not crucifying others for not living up to perfection, like the jw's do! Have a great holiday!

Just got back from church. The old paster had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. It was raining a little and he said it only takes 50 drops to stop 100 baptist from comming to church.

The ones singing in the group were my two sisters-in-law and two men who attend that church. He was picking on one of my wife's sisters about the piano and some other things(She has been out with him a few times to eat dinner) and it made me laugh so much I could hardly stop. My wife said she started to stand up and say Amen.

I had a lot of fun there. I know a few of them from work years ago. It's way out in the country and reminds me of the old KH we built years ago. Just one room with the bathrooms in the back. They have a seperate building for eating and such. There were about 40 there. I got a big hug from my sweet daughter, which was worth the trip.
