My parents grew up met and married in Shelton. They didn't turn to Dubdom until they moved to Vernonia, Oregon during WWII. Then Portland, Oregon just after the war.
The family name is Cloutier. My aunt had a house right by the old highschool, where Uncle and two other aunts lived for 10 years or so until death recently. That would be Harvey and Goldie Cloutier, and Aunt Lou.
My best friend has a cabin in Hood Canal about 2 miles south of Hoodsport. We go there quite often to fish and do some crabbin'. (Crabbin Cabin). I guess that really doesn't have any bearing on this thread. Sorry to have wasted your time.

I had some family there but none that were JW. Most of my family (JW and worldly) are in Eastern Washington and the Seattle/Everett area.
I live down in the 'couve. But I work uin Olympia. There are a lot-o-dubs here at the State of Wash. Dept-o-Health.
Amy Culp is from the peninsula but her husbacd is from here. Diana Herrington and David Norman are the ones whose names I know.
One of my older brothers David Jones and his wife and daughters lived in Shelton for many years. They were active UUs. Don't know where he is now but his wife left him and live in Tacoma now..
