While browsing through the latest "Tower" mag I came accross a article about France and how the authorities are giving the dubs trouble and not giving them tax exempt status.
What do they do? Do the remember the ole "pay Ceasars things to Ceasar and gods things to god" rule?
Absolutely not! They go out and distribute a special tract all about how France's freedoms are being eroded away. Hmmmmm, sounds a little Christendomish to me. It is funny how they tell the rank and file to not be involved with politics...unless of couse money is involved. I am wondering if this distribution of a political tract about taxes counted for field service hours. Does anybody in France know?
Anyway, the article is in the September 1st Watchtower and if I was a better typist I would transcribe it here for you. It would make a great diet program as I just wanted to loose my lunch when I read it.

Haven't read the article, but it sounds as if they are referring to a tract they published for France a couple of years ago. We had a big discussion on H2O about it, and Osarsif captured my rebuttal and published it on his web site:

Hello NikL,
Thanks for the post.
At the time of the tract in France, I was informed
by a friend, and given a copy; the title
was : " FRANCAIS…ON VOUS TROMPE! "
To come to your question, I was told that giving
The tract was a " special activity" and you know,
… IT WAS counted as " field service"!Greetings, J.C. MacHislopp

And this good news of tax exempt status for printing corporations will be preached in all the inhabited and taxed earth, and then the end will come.
