I was looking at the Moyle court case transcript, and noticed that some of the
Watchtower publications were included in the record.
One item from something that was like a "Kingdom Ministry" that caught my
attention was a notice about Box Tops!
In the late 1930's (1938?), the Watchtower had the Companies (congregations)
involved in "Box Top" collection drives.
The box tops would be sent to Headquaters for the Watchtower to redeam them
for cash. (at least that is what I think they would redeam them for, they didn't
use them for wallpaper!)
I don't think anyone has mentioned this form of "theocratic" activity from the 30s
before.
