Interesting that Tom Clancy wrote a novel several years ago outlining the KGB-Bulgarian-East German assassination plot that is mentioned in that CNN story.
Catholic conspiracy theorists (yes, they're everywhere) have always thought that there were communists in the upper levels of the Vatican. I guess this will fuel them. Of course, didn't they just release from Soviet archives proof that the Soviets had a hand in the assasination?
Just like there are pro JW's on this forum ( YES...........you are welcome here ) and there are some pro Catholic's also ( you are welcome too ), you must keep in mind that the Vatican is no different than any other BIG BUSINESS. As Don Corleone said in the movie "GODFATHER" ..................... it's nothing personal..........it's just business. And since their business is encompassed with millions if not billions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, the Vatican as well as Mafia/LaCosaNostra or the local boyz in the hood want their own man in charge.
Religion is only a means to gain the financial rewards of the masses.......the same as addiction is a means to gain the financial means of the local people of the hood. The powers within that enclave.......whether it be the College of Cardinals........the boyz in the hood.........or whatever.........will do WHATEVER is necessary to keep their own group at the forefront.
Think about it for a moment............was Jesus right when he said ......"you will be no part of the world"........whatever that statement may mean or whatever way you want to take it?
