When ever JW?s hear of a person falling on hard times or personal tragedy the response seems to be, ?that person really needs the truth!? That always seemed to bug me. So happy people with things going good, don?t need the truth? I?m just venting but that seems to go hand in hand with the thought that they pray on the weak and frail ones, people searching for anything that makes them feel better, a utopia. Your thoughts on this or anything else that ticks you off.
That person needs the truth!?!?

Julia, what they mean is
that person is in a vulnerable position emotionally and easy prey for the lies of the WTS

Because most JWs live in the Land of Denial or its next-door neighbor, LaLa Land.
So many JWs today either were born and indoctrinated into the Lie or were caught at a vulnerable moment.
They are trained to love God only for what they can get from him not what they can give to him.
Well, I'm not trying to get too preachy.

The Witnesses have to be bottom feeders. The healthy, the educated, and the intelligent have no need for the Witness practices or their grandious delusions.

Generally that statement is followd by "Maybe I'll give him the latest Watchtower and Awake", as if this is somehow of help. So a person loses a loved one. What would be helpful? Take their kids for an afternoon? Cook them dinner? Give them some financial support? NO!!! Give them 2 magazines with 32 pages of drivel and inane stupidity. Yes, now you can feel superior and feel like you have "helped" someone. UGH!
