I always thought that a person would be "reproved' once then disfellowshipped but I have heard of cases of JW's being reproved 3 and 4 times without being disfellowshipped. I have been out for so long now I guess the rules have changed since I left in 1993. Those elders did not show me any slack when they came to my house for a committee meeting to DF me. But I fooled them and DA myself and told them off for three hours at the same time bringing up all of the WT skeletons in the process. So what is their policy regarding public reproof?

IT DEPENDS ON THE BODY OF ELDERS AND THE DEGREE OF REPENTANCE - I CHAIRED A COMMITTEE THAT REPROVED A WOMEN THREE TIMES BEFORE SHE WAS FINALLY DFD

Well, since the JWs are spirit-directed, that determination is left up to them. In other words, anything goes.

depends if it is for the same thing.......or what degree of responsibility and/or understanding and/or mental capacity and/or background and/or mitigating circumstances an individual has......

    in theory

in reality depends if the jc want you destroyed at armageddon
