I have recently met someone that has been out of JW for quite some time. I really care for this person and I would like to know more about JW so i can understand what she went thru to remove herself, what feelings you think she may have from her involvement in JW and what she may go thru in the future that we are planing together. Please help, any info is appreciated!!

Thanks for your help!!!! : )

First and most important, yo uneed to determine if she ever plans on or thinks she should go back. If the answer is a definite NO, and if she has good reasons why she knows it's not the "truth," then you can decide how relevant it is to your relationship.

Also it depends on whether she decided to leave and faded away or if she was disfellowshipped (kicked out and shunned).

You are in a good place to learn. Is she 110% OUT and has no desire to return? There is a lot of guilt

laid on former JWs, sometimes they are drawn back.

Thank you very much for your reply and I appoligize for my delay in responding. My job kept me from replying until now.

She will never go back, she is very familiar with all of the issues of the JW, including the harboring of pedifiles, the hypocracy and the united nations etc.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for my delay in responding, busy day at work.

She was never baptised, she was raised in the JW and left on her own.

    Well VH,

I'm soo gald for you and your friend.

Just be there for her. It's going to be hard for her, even thought she did choose to leave.

You'll never be able to understand fully but a listening ear always helps, We're here for you both.

    Leah.
