What gives with the people who run St Helens league club?

They have a coach who has made them a champion team but they don't like him????? Huh??

St Helens axe Millward for foul language 9:26 AM May 11
English Super League giants St Helens have terminated the contract of their Australian-born coach Ian Millward for gross misconduct.
The 44-year-old Millward was suspended from duty last week as the club conducted a disciplinary investigation.
His legal representative Richard Cramer claims the suspension comes after three incidents of alleged foul language.
Millward had become a popular figure with the Lancashire club's fans after restoring their fortunes.
Since arriving in 2000, he has guided St Helens to victory in two Super League grand finals and two Challenge Cup finals and was also at the helm when they won the World Club Challenge in 2001.
He signed a new five-year deal in 2002.

You can get thrown out of rugby league grounds over here if you shout foul language. The RFL are trying to make all the grounds family friendly. I suppose they're trying to make a unified stand on the issue including those employed by the clubs.

It's pretty ludicrous really in my opinion. Ok foul language isn't nice but if your a rugby coach and you get carried away in the heat of the moment you're gonna say stuff that conveys your exasperation. It certainly isn't gross misconduct.

Kids in St Helens are likely to hear 100 times more swears in the playground than emenating from Ian Millward. The St Helens fans are definitely against this disciplinary action, hopefully their voices will be heard.

We don't want you Aussies to think we're a bunch of [edited] pansies!
