My take is that this would be an international problem. After all, JW literature is read by children in virtually every country. Why is it not happening elsewhere?

I think it is an interesting article and should not be discounted..........
American kids rebel and do things secretly to "commit suicide" concerning the truth......Maybe it is something in their culture, their religion.......
Maybe the witnesses need to let the kids parents take care of thier own children and not try to give them the literature. They are minors afterall.

Interesting article. There were obviously underlying problems in those childrens lives but the WTS literature is not without blame for holding out a false hope. Is it more to blame than any other religion though which offers heaven, paradise, reincarnartion etc? Maybe, the main thrust of all WTS literature is armageddon and paradise earth which implants fear and trepidation in people, especially impressionable young children.
This is quite alarming.
The english WT studies are filled with lopsided, cult double speak & guilt inducing propaganda very cleverly disguised.
They are masters at the bait & switch technique.
Maybe there is something wrong with the translations. Did they get a new guy?

That article is just sickning,when are people going to wakeup and see what this cult is doing to so many and show it for what it really is.
