Because I got to see these men on a daily basis in various settings, this post is dedicated to my fav/least fav GB.

    Favs:
Milton Henschel - He was always friendly, down-to-earth and was never too high on himself to speak to the little guy. Always cracking a joke here and there. Tall mofo. At least 6-5. Didn't have an air about him during his time as WTS president.

John Barr - I probably liked him the best. He and his wife were equally kind, generous. Sat at their morning worship table. He would let you have your space. I wasn't a morning worship person, so he had the sense to leave me alone, while others would just try to carry on meaningless convos with you.

Daniel Sydlik - To new boys coming in, he was the man. Always gave humorous stories, talks and anecdotes. Had a thing for the ladies. Was the ORIGINAL PLAYER.

Gerard (sp?) Losch - One of the younger GB's. Was coming as I was leaving the Big House. Spoke 7 languages fluently. Hated football and would rag on the brothers that played football during lunch. Overall, good spirited. Not too judgemental. Level-headed.

Lyman Swingle - Dead now. When I was there he was always straight to the point. Always said things that you were thinking but wouldn't dare say.

    Least Favs
Carey Barber - Moody, judgemental. Definitely old-school. His talks were always laced with the judgmental, we're better than you, support the org or you're from the devil mentality.

Karl Klein - Dead and gone. Was sick a lot when I was there. NEVER understood what the hell he was saying. VERY moody probably because of his various illneses.

Schroeder - Used to hate this man's wife. Had such an air about her. She ALWAYS had something to complain about. She was in 360 Furman Tape Dupe when I was there.

Gangas - Yeah, I know he was old and all, BUT I ABSOLUTELY HATED being quizzed by him on the elevators.

Lloyd Barry - Was always kinda aloof. Period.

Theodore Jaracz - He was a DICK plain and simple.

Freddie Franz - By the time I got to Bethel, he was a walking corpse. Never really some him outside of the infirmary.

When I have some time, I'll elaborate and get into specifics. But for now these were some of my general impressions of the GB. Join in, especially if you served a prison sentence at the house.

Blackman....I never did time in the "prison", and most of my knowledge of these men comes from having met them at assemblies and conventions.....What I couldn't stand is that they were treated like absolute Royalty....you would have thought Jesus had come down from heaven on a cloud! Just my observations...had a conversation one time with Sydlick in a hotel lobby...a short little mofo....very little to say....all I could think of was.....this little short ass was the voice of Pharoah????
