Simon - many many of us fantasize about being able to talk to friends and relatives still "in" and getting them out. And / Or we fantasize about being able to truly affect the WTBTS somehow.

I've noticed that the phrase "...because of this site..." comes up over and over as the reason why someone has left the JW Cult.

    One question.

How does it feel? How does it actually feel to know that you did it? That your site has literally changed the lives of dozens? Hundreds? Not just in giving support, but those coming here for whatever reason, end up having their eyes opened to this cult and leave forever. And some of these take even more with them.

Can you give the "full monty" answer to this? (not a short on please, but the answer that let's us know the full satisfaction of it)

    Thanks

(I know I?d be pretty damn happy to know that every member of the GB knows my site by name and that on a frequent basis someone is writing the Service Dept with a problem that has to do with what they have learned here. Pretty darned happy)

yes I would love to hear what Simon really feels and and how it must be a real glowing testimony to all the people that have been helped. I love this site though it was Randy Watters site that I first started going to on a regular basis

confused... I'm glad you asked this question. A df'd friend of mine showed me the way to this board. I've just been thankful that it's here, never giving any thought as to how it got started. A big THANK YOU to Simon then. He's made a safe place for all of us to come and share our thoughts, feelings, and experiences. For 10 yrs I felt very alone, not anymore! hg

It probably isn't exactly the same, CJW, but Simon has posted details of his story and how he came to found the site here. Some good insights... check it out if you haven't already. and just ignore the peanut gallery....

I wondered if ministry of truth would replace this thread.
