Paintsville Kentucky??

I am just curious if anyone on this board is from Paintsville Ky? anybody have family from that area? I practically grew up in that area.

i was born and raised in ky... dunno where paintsville is though.

Its in the eastern half of the state "Appalachia", about 25 miles from W Virginia.

I know Terry Savage from Pikesville pretty well... I see him every year at one of my trade conventions.

The name does sound familiar, but I never attended the Kingdom Hall in Pikeville, I just mentioned it because it was nearby to Paintsville. I did attend the Paitnsville and Salyersville Congregations, and went to the Prestonsburg cong once or twice.
