After nearly 10 years of fading, the closest I feel to being spirituality connected comes through 1) nature and 2) creativity. Anyone else feel the same? alias

That is understandable as what you came from was neither natural nor creative, it was confining and went against your natural instincts.

Nature, most assuredly. Being in touch with the energy in nature is my safest bet when wishing to tap into the sometimes illusive life force of the creator. A spider's web can be a most intimate look into the realm of spirituality. The Atlantic Ocean is my greatest tap into touch the face of God. Drove to Atlantic City last weekend late at night, just so I could view the ocean. I was alone, with God. A flock of geese or ducks at the river bank is also my way of connecting. I go there to feed them on occasion, saving the heels from the loaves of bread that go un-eaten. Thunderstorms, blizzards, like the one of the winter of 96, the spectacular fall fireworks display in Autumn, these are but a few of the things that keep me in touch with the creator, and my spiritual center.

Nature is my temple. It gives me peace, a greater sense of connection and instant happiness.

What a totally true statement. Freedom comes in so many forms.
tetrapod.sapien,
:)
prophecor,
That was a beautiful experience. Thank you for sharing.
DHL,
I'm also amazed at nature's effects. You can literally step out of your life and merge with creation, shifing your perspective tenfold.
Thank you for your comments, all. -

Yes, yes, yes.
I did see a program last night which speculated the existence of grave goods (indicating some belief in an afterlife) to c. 100,000 BP and art in the form of geometric patterns to c. 70,000 BP.
Seems we were spiritual before we were artistic. But the date foir 'religion' means (given the time when the modern voicebox made complicated speech possible) that what happened when you died was one of the first things people talked about.
