To all my fellow country music listening fans out there:

Did you watch this year's show last week?

Sugarland's performance: Am I the only person in the world that thinks they were lip-syncing?

They are getting all these great review for their perfomance and I would have bet a million bucks they were lip-syncing.

    Just wondering.

Don't know about the lip synching, but WOW, what a performance!! I was in awe at the beauty of the emotion displayed, the life and energy exuded - whether they were actually singing it or not.

Brought tears to my eyes, and my first expression to my husband was how I wished I could be like that. That "LIFE" in me had been squelched by the org for more than 40 years and now it's hard to resurrect it.

I'm not really a country music person, except for loving Shania Twain...but the other day when i was flipping through the channels, i saw the saddest country video....I don't remember who was singing it but it was a man and a woman....and the guy got home from the army and caught wife in bed with someone...he drunk himself to death...then the guilt drove her to the same demise....i just thought that was the saddest but almost truthful thing i've ever seen

That song and video is by Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss called, "Whiskey Lullaby". It has been nominated for and won many awards including the Video Event of the Year and the Video of the Year on the CMA show the other night.

    Touching too, I agree.

Get your tissues and watch it at http://www.cmt.com

Yeah thats it...and last night, once again i was flipping through and saw my girl Shania, I'm not sure if this is one of her newer songs or an older one that I had missed, but I think it was called I Ain't a Quitter...or something about not quitting....i just loved the video...all the lil dances...but enough about videos....this was the CMA thread...sorry...
