How about some ideas of what's good tasting and good for you? Sadly I only know of products but certainly recipes would be great too.

One thing I found recently is a shake mix called Alive! (not to be confused with Awake!) by Nature's Way. It's basically their multi-vitamin formula by the same name put into a meal replacement shake formula with some protein and such. The one I tried is the apple cinnamon flavor and it does taste pretty good, and because it's based on a multi vitamin the nutrient levels are better than your typical meal replacement shakes.

Since I'm taoist / buddhist I also believe in not killing in order to eat. So I have been cooking lots of Indian Food and Mexican Food vegetarian style.

So my Tofu Vindaloo is awesome!!!
My goat's milk cheesecake rocks (although I don't think you could call it health food)
My black bean burritos also are da bomb

But even Budha ate sushi once in awhile ;) Or at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

    Quick and easy stir fry.

If you wish to add a protein (sliced tofu/meat), slice thin, and braise quickly in a hot, oiled pan (canola) till browned/cooked. Use spices at your discretion/taste. Remove from pan and set aside.

Saute fresh ginger & garlic in olive oil at low heat. Sprinkle w/ sea salt. Turn up the heat to medium, and add sliced vegetables of your choice. Cover and steam. Check every couple of minutes, stirring and adjusting heat. I like to use the garlic as a vegetable, at least 3/4 big cloves, onion or leeks, lots of broccoli, carrots, and/or whatever else is kicking around and fits together. Kale or other greens can be added at the very end, as they steam quickly.

When the veggies are almost cooked, add the protein, and stir to mix.

At this point, you may wish to add any soya sauce, curry paste or whatever, as it's a good base to many potential sauces. ; ) I prefer my veggies crunchy, so I mix quickly, and serve.

Asparagus and leeks make a nice saute. Eliminate the ginger, though, because it will overpower the other flavours, and just use garlic as a third vegetable and salt / pepper to taste. Yumm. Even better, you can mix the olive oil half-and-half w/ butter if you are not vegan.

Good on its own w/ beans, or poured over rice, or spaghetti squash.

Sundae: really good, creamy yoghurt, 1 cup,, 1 cup blueberries, drizzled w/ maple syrup.

Say has anyone tried hemp protein yet? We are carrying the Nutiva brand at work now and I noticed it has like 14g of fiber and 11g protein - so nutritionally it looks pretty good but wondering about the taste. I like this one hemp granola they have out there but there's probably not enough in there to compare taste.

Please, tell me your cheesecake has no flour, and that you will give me the recipe ... please ...

No, but I can't eat grains. That makes many products forbidden. I have read a bit on the properties of hemp oil... interesting to check out.
