Posted this under the wrong place earlier, Next weekend is the DC in San Diego. Unfortunately, I have to go, to keep up with appearances. Is there anyone else here planning on going? It would be nice to look out into the stadium and know that I'm not alone.

I remember when some people would bring patio umbrellas to the outdoor stadium conventions, to offer some protection against the sun. Does the Watchtower still allow people to bring the large umbrellas?

Also, how about someone here posting the convention badges? I want to make my own authentic conterfit JW convention badge! hehe

I won't be in San Diego Tweety, but like you, I gotta go to keep up appearances and also to find out the latest bullshit so I can post it here. I'll be with ya in spirit though, as I think mine's in a couple of weeks too..........god, I dread the thought of sitting there for the whole fucking day listening to how baaaaaaad the Internet is, how close to Arm-a-gettin we are , how we have to be aware of the super-baaaaad 'postates and how we have to follow everything the hairy he-goats in Bethel say. ......oh the sacrifices I make for this board!! Y'all better appreciate it..............

What would happen if a EX- JW went to a convention..we use to have to wear name tags...they handed them out at our KH..do they still do that?

Couldn't you just walk in and sit down?
Or do they "Check you in when entering?"
    What is the security like?

Snoozy..who's just being nosy...and not anywhere near San Diego...

Anyone can attend, especially if you look like a dub. If you are dressed in jeans or a short skirt or have a beard, then you'd probably be considered a study of someone. Sometimes when they release publications, you have to show your blood card to get one but that doesn't happen too often.
