An interesting side topic arose on another thread about praying with people at the door.
I did door to door witnesses for decades and never once prayed with someone at the door, and yes, requests were made.
By not praying with worldly ones I was following the instructions from the FDS. However, I never really understood the WTS stance on this.
I would like to hear others thoughts about why praying at the door with someone would be scripturally appropriate or not.
I realize that it may be a loving and compassionate thing to do. After all if someone requests a complete stranger to pray with them they may really be in some distress. However, what is the bible's view? Or "What Does the Bible Really Say?"
