Just send
Lewis Grizzard(sorry mistake, see post below) an email saying that a formal request to his local JW congregation will put him on the "Do Not Call" list. A "No Trespassing" Sign will also ensure no JW calls.Reference this official JW document: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/file/AB0DFC76-92E3-4E38-9596-3938C3300A3A.ashx
Also ask him to do a favor for his readers and publish this info in his next editorial.

<div>Lewis Grizzard died in 1994. The column was apparently run as a tribute to him. Although I'd be willing to bet that the editor had just had a run-in with some JWs.</div>

Lewis Grizzard was a very popular writer/columnist in my part of the country. His humor was rather down-home with a southern flare. As I recall, one of his classics was a book titled something like "They tore my heart and stomped that sucker flat" which was themed on his experience with a heart bypass. That ought to give you an idea of he how was.

I've still got one of Lewis Grizzard's books called Elvis is Dead and I don't Feel So Good Myself. In it he makes reference to the Witnesses when he says "You were suspicious of anyone who wore a tie to work, Catholics and Jehovah's Witnesses who went around trying to sell subscriptions to the Watchtower."
