iN THE BIBLE, its says that the Hebrews made bricks? when they were slaves,what were the bricks used for?
Also their burden was increased by not giving them straw to make the bricks.
If straw was a vital ingregidients(sp?), how come it was taken away from them?

I know that this thread is sort of just for fun, but if anyone wants to know the very first dynasties of Egypt did use bricks made of clay and straw.
T he word iqdou (Nile mud) was used to designate the profession of the brickmaker and the potter, who used mud from the Nile to make their products.

To make bricks, Nile mud was mixed with sand, straw and water, slapped into wooden moulds and then slapped out onto the ground to dry in the sun. Yeah, I live in a mudbrick house. If you don't mix straw in, the bricks crack. So that's why the job was (allegedly) harder for Israelites, heaps were useless.
They would have had to gather their own straw instead of having it provided. Not only would they still have to meet a brick quota but also have to gather the materials for the making brick.

I am pretty sure the Hebrew slaves, if they were slaves and were in Egypt (no proof of that), did not build the pyramids.
