It went out last night when the tropical storm came on shore. Not much damage, just one hot day in the house here in southern Louisiana.
We are so spoiled!

YAY! Well I have no clue what to say!
How is the baby in the Heat? Did he do alright?

I was hoping to hear from you, and also was thinking of LyinEyes & WT. Glad you are safe, and I assume, well!

The powers never gone out here thanks to our state owned electric company. (OK, it did once when I was 6, but just once; the only other other time was when the generator blew out in the apartment, but that's not the electrical grid).
He was okay. He never really sweated and slept most all day in his swing. I think 86 F was the highest it got in the house. Needless to say... when Evelyne arrived home we left for dinner in a very COOL Italian place.
Classicist: I really don't know if "State owned" would make a difference when your power poles have been snapped in half throughout the metropolitan area.
Take care all. And hope and love to those across the pond.

Hey Chris... Nice to hear from you again!
We are waiting to see where Dennis is going to land. We may evacuate tomorrow afternoon if he moves west a bit.
Take care all.
