oh cool. well i need advice. i usually just hang out with 1 girl at a time. well i wanted to hook up with new girls, and i met one at this coffee house, got her number and everything. since ive never really dated, just hung out with my chick friends, and i dont know if this would be considered a date, but i'll just call her up and ask her if she wants to go see my friends play at a concert friday.

hah im excited, this has made me so confident for college now. i mean meeting new people. you dont understand how far ive came. i use to be shy because i was fat. i think i have come a far way. but should this be a date or just hanging out?

Tsumani, from other posts you have made it seems like a lot of pressure happens when when you classify it a 'date'. Why not just go and hang out, have a great time, and at the end of the night ask HER where she would like to go from there. If she wants to just be buddies thats ok, she probably has cute friends that would be perfect for you. I understand about being shy, I am too and it can be hard but it does get better as you get older.

This is the advice I gave my ex-husband when he was panicing about dating again: Just relax! The right girl will come along and you will know that the moment is right. Now he has no prob. hooking up.

hah you're right. i'm thinking about calling this chick at around noon today, not too early, not too late. if i get voicemail i'll just say, "hey soandso, this is chris from the coffee house, call me back" if i dont then yay, i'll just ask how her weekend was and if she wanted to do whatever on friday.
