They come from far and away to your neighborhood's swimming pool. Then after having fun,, they leave their garbage behind for you to clean up.Parking is impossible. Most of the young ones are unsupervised and very unruly. Vandalism and Grafitti is done by some. You have to keep a close watch on your vehicle. Does this happen in your neck of the woods? Oh, I suppose that most visiters from outside your neighborhood are well behaved and it's just a few bad apples that leave the core and pits behind.

My step-son and a few friends climbed over the fence one night late at the public pool for a swim. He was about 20. Some time that night they missed one of their friends and found him dead in the bottom of the pool. He had dived off the side of the pool and hit his head on the bottom.

That's always the case when something brings a lot of people to the neighbourhood every day some among them will have no social or environmental conscience and will mess up the place.

Before someone buys a house it's good to check things out for this nuisance.

We`re lucky here in our town I guess, the community pool is at the Country Club/ recreation complex, so there`s a few watchdogs!

But our beach takes the abuse after like a surf contest/festival, or July 4th, because the city does the fireworks out over the water. Lots of garbage gets left behind by everyone not just the tourists. It`s funny people and families come to our area because it`s clean and it`s quiet here, but they sure don`t leave it like they found it!!

ah public swimming pools.....I vividly recall every couple hours the panicked life guard frantically blowing his whistle, telling us all to get out as he grabbed his trusty net....turd alert!

I remember when I was a kid going to those. I always hoped there was enough chlorine to kill all the piss and crap germs. It just gives me the creeps thinking about going to those. The pool at our local YMCA, is really clean and they do a nice job of not allowing unsupervised kids. I go there once in a while.

Growing up I lived in a complex that had a big pool, I loved it! But looking back I can see how many people are just gross and inconsiderate, their personal hygiene is not up to my standards, I would avoid a public pool if possible. Besides I have an inground pool in my backyard anyways.

It's a shame to see people missusing a resource like that, pools are not cheap to maintain.
