Does anyone have any experience with the WT's advice to those who have disabled (blind, etc.) kids on whether they should pursue higher education? I received this email:

Hi I am a man who has been blind since birth and I was raised a Jehovah's witness. However, I was never baptized because I studied off and on because I had nonwitness relatives who led me away for a while. I progressed very slowly through the books and when I graduated high school I was discouraged from pursuing any career or education by the elders. I was told by several people that I could just do secretarial work. I went on and am now a strait a student at a university. I want to know what the watchtower organizations policies are toward the blind as far as what the elders are told to tell parents of disabled youth and disabled adults when making career and life decisions. I want to know what the organization does not tell the public. I would appreciate your help thanks.

Let me know and I will post it to him.
