Sorry, Martorii. I don't know. But welcome!

I've been reading a material by Jon Mitchell on the temple and original Greek 'naos' and wanted to see if anyone agrees with his interpretation.
Welcome martorii. When you put your first post I thought you might be looking for info on the great crowd. There has been a thread on that recently. I don't know where its gone though! (the thread, not the great crowd )
My Interlinear (Nestle 21st ed) translates the word as 'shrine'. Not sure if thats any help to you though! Please can you tell us how Jon Mitchell interprets it and what your own thoughts are then maybe we'll be able to discuss it.
"Hieron is the Greek word for the entire temple complex with all its sub-structures and courts. Naos refers to the inner sanctuary of the temple complex which included the Holy and Holy of Holies (or Most Holy)."

This thread may be better for ex-JWs to help with.
Anyone out there remember the thread a couple of weeks back on the great crowd?
