Re-active Instead of Pro-active?

If JW's are supposedly the 'true' religion. Why are they re-active to issues instead of pro-active?

In the bible, Gods people were looked after and guided in many things that they simply knew nothing about- for example sanitation while in the wilderness.

JW's- self titled "Gods People" on earth today are always getting things wrong, and having to change. EG Naming dates, handling child abuse improperly, bible teachings that are incorrect etc.

If they REALLY are Gods people, why are they not divinely guided, and getting things right the first time?? Surely for the good of God's name this should be the case?

That's what I wanted to know. How come they didn't know the iron curtain was falling BEFORE it happened???

Cause they're not who they 'think' they are.
