What a hot day we've had.

  Today it was a very sweaty 90+ day with the humidity in the 70s. Whew I say.

  I took a stroll to the Brooklyn promenard, which overlooks the mahattan downtown skyline. Beautiful view with incredible heat haze!

  A freind of mine was looking at an appartment to rent, so I sat in the shade, admiring the view.

  For those not in the know, this is right next to the motherships' headquarters.

  I was sat in my shorts, baggie T, and sandels, while amusing myself watching all the bethel dubs running about in stiff clothes and collered ties sweating their ass off!

  Yes indeed, what a hot day we've had.

  I took a shower at 2PM today. It's nearly eight thirty. It feels like I've not showered in over a week.

  Thunderstorms passed thru here about an hour and a half ago and it's somewhat cooler...75 now (last night I don't think it got much below 80 the whole evening). The rest of the week should be more bearable. I'm glad. Phew, not a heat-lover here at all.

  It's been positively brutal up here since JUNE! We never hit 90 all last summer but it made up for it this year! It was horrible here up until last evening when we had a powerful storm----and getting up today it was 75 at 7:00 AM---and went DOWN to the mid-sixties (YAY) the rest of the afternoon!

  This 90 heat and awful humidity takes a toll on everyone's strength and stamina! I'm enjoying the change---supposed to last through the weekend! Upstate NY is not known for its record-breaking heat! LOL!
