I want to find a copy and the name of the GREEN SONG BOOK. Not the Pink one, nor the brown one.

My grandfather told me once how much fun it was to sing from the Green song book. I think it was "OUTLAWED" or something. But I wanted to find the proper name and if anyone had a copy.

    Thanks!

it was "Songs to Jehovah's Praise." (1950) I remember it. (The bibliography in the back of Penton's APOCALYPSE DELAYED is worth the price of the book.)

You might set up a search robot on eBay to notify you whenever "watchtower songbook" appears. They have the brown and pink ones right now. I think I saw the green one last week.

I think the Green Song book was replaced in 1966 so even the pink songbook is nearly 40 years old. I barely remember the green songbook but I'd be interested in seeing one. Even the pink songbook had tunes that were not of Watchtower origin, I wonder what old light was in the green book?

    3rd.

PS I remember the DC in 1966. The one we attended was held in Blackpool, a grotty popular seaside town in England. Even as a 6 year old I was embarrassed to tell my friends that I took two days off school to go to Blackpool, not to vacation but to sit in a stadium till 9 PM every night.

Actually, 20 years is a long time for them to go without a new songbook, so they're about due, aren't they?

Nahh....they aren't going to put out a new song book anytime soon. All the bros who had any talent w/ music are long gone.
