Just back from the assembly.
For those who care: We had 14 young souls who were assimilated in the borg.
Some old stuff, though. Stupid examples etc.
They seem to renew the ban on higher education though. Everyday at least two examples or idications that we should not seek higher education. Sad.
Some other worrying examples, but nothing new (surprice)

BTW, in English, the District Convention is no longer called an assembly (about 20 plus years ago) , just the Circuit Assembly and the Special Assembly Day.
Is that true in your language? Did they change the terminology?

yes true convention.
The brothers use district assembley and district convention here both (in english). Convention however in publications.
In my language they did not change it as far as I know.
They changed the title of the CO. First it was 'circuit servant' to circuit overseeer.

yes, all those serving jehovah use the same terminology... otherwise, how could it be called the pure language? admittedly, brothers and sisters do make mistakes from time to time and call the district conventions 'assemblies'... it won't be until the new system of things where God makes "all things new" that there won't be mistakes like that made.

It's absolutely amazing that the cult can keep so many imprisoned when there is so much information about High Control Groups and their tactics. I suppose a person believes what they want to believe even if all the evidence contradicts the source.
