Did you write an NC program for that ? Or do you have WAY too much free time on your hands ? :)

    DrMike,

I'm sure WLG bought them already drilled and slotted instead of machining them himself.

As far as projects go, Project Turbo M3 is on hold for the mean time due to purchasing a house. As it stands now I have a performance chip, cold air intake, lightweight flywheel, short throw shift kit, stiffer tranny mounts, stiffer rear strut mounts, HID headlights w/ angle eyes. Next will prbably be new wheels, I want to get the 18" M3 CSL replicas and a fully adjustable suspension. Then the next step will be for me to purchase a daily driver that I can putt around in while I do some major engine work to get it ready for some boost. Once all the engine work is done I'll be routing the piping for the intake, turbo, intercooler, and pruchase a 4" turbo exhaust w/ no cats (my car is a 1995 so next year I won't have to pass emissions whooohooo). It's going to be a long project but well worth it when I'm done. It's going to be a really nice weekend track car.

jaredg, That's no fun ! Machining your own part is the "real man's" way to go

Actually I'm working on an M3 (e36) Supercharger kit as we speak. I am using a 1995 as a guineapig :)

Digital boost control, water injection, and wideband fuel control. I already have the system running on my 2002 Chevy 2500HD pickup. But, space is really tight in the BMW.

Incase you haven't tried it, the e36 M3's gain ALLOT of performance from removing that cat.

    p.s.

What state lets you drop emissions inspections after 10 years ? Here in CA I think we are still screwed all the way back to 1970 or so...

NC lets you drop after 10...another reason I like the 1994...

Florida is the same, except NO cars have to pass emissons anymore...unless they changed recently.

I'm going the forced induction route before next spring myself...haven't decided between turbo(s) or a Whipplecharger...we'll see!

Oh, and I don't have the equipment to do the machine work myself...have to stick with bolt ons since everything I own has to be able to be moved in one trip...
