This was the last song I saw Kurt play. I thought he did a great cover of the Vaseline's Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam.

Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam
Sunbeams are not made like me
Don't expect me to cry
For all the reasons you had to die
Don't ever ask for love from me-
Don't expect me to cry
Don't expect me to lie
Don't expect me to die for thee.

Kurt had so much music left.

That was a sad day the day he died. We had the CO's visit that week, and it was rather pathetic Saturday listening to the adults try to discuss the death of this "drug addict" rock singer.
I guess you had to be there, and had to be of the lost generation X. I never heard music like that before and it had a big impact on us at the time. Kurt was a legend, and as legends go, "its better to burn out than to fade away."
Serve the Servants
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Teenage angst has paid off well
Now I'm bored and old
Self-appointed judges judge
More than they have sold
If she floats than she is not
A witch like we had thought
A down payment on another
One at salem's lot
Serve the servants - Oh no (x4)
That legendary divorce is such a bore
As my bones grew they did hurt
They hurt really bad
I tried hard to have a father
But instead I had a dad
I just want you to know that I
Don't hate you anymore
There is nothing I could say
That I haven't thought before
Serve the servants - Oh no (x4)
That legendary divorce is such a bore
Serve the servants - Oh no (x7)
That legendary divorce is such a bore
