all the earopeans always want to blame the US for their problems, AFTER we get through saving their buts...

OK, so he cant tell his aeroplanes from his ear'oles, but I come across this phrase about saving butts again and again and again!

Will someone please be so kind as to explain to me from what it is exactly that our "butts" are being / have been saved from?

It was a simple misspelling - he wants to SHAVE your butt, not save it.

Yes. Freedom of Speech! We're "saved" from lots of stuff, as having our freedom without any asshole listening in on us via stuff like ECHELON (in which the UK has more than a finger involved, together with the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand).

You don't like the "F" word (what an idiotic expression), and the US tries to save your butt by making it the most important question in the universe how to bring the criminals using "the word" to justice.

    Holy Shiiiit!

Instead, we've got all the American TV-series to make our minds numb so we don't notice, and newsfeeds like CNN to weaken our critical senses:))) LOL

    Hey Kent,

I don't know what they export to Europe, but we do have some good shit on the Telly over here. We have: The History Channel, The Learning Channel, The Discovery Channel, Arts and Entertainment, Public Television, and on Fox News Network, we have Bill O'Rielly on a show called the O'Rielly Factor, who goes after everybody, much like you. You would really like O'Rielly.

This is what I pick up on my telly:

You poor thing, Englishman, I didn't realise things were so bad in your part of the world. No soccer channel? Best if you go down to the pub, old son.

    Cheers,
    Ozzie

    Ozzie,

Yup, soccer is on Sky sports 2.

Very educational, our daily telly. We know everything that there is to know about Australians. You all live in Ramsey Street, no-one smokes or swears and once a year you visit Harry's Rock.

You all go to the University of Wooloomooloo where Ozziepost teaches logical positivism and Uncle Bruce is in charge of the sheep dip.

You're very good at cricket even though your players wear lipstick.

    Bonza!
