  What is more likely is that the congregation sold the KH in preparation for building or buying a new one. Happens all the time when a congregation no longer feels their current building "meets their needs." KHs have been sold and remodeled into churches, islamic meeting groups, bars, private homes.

  An example of something similar is the post showing that the WTS sold their orange grove to a private party, a JW.

  The WTS sold the Furman building to a private party just recently.
